Art. 18. Obligaţii (1) Membrii partidului au următoarele obligaţii: a) să cunoască principiile, doctrina, programul şi să le promoveze în activitatea pe care o desfăşoară; b) să cunoască şi să respecte statutul partidului, codul de conduită şi regulamentele interne şi valorile partidului; c) să respecte şi să îndeplinească hotărârile adoptate de forurile partidului; d) să contribuie la promovarea imaginii partidului; e) să participe la activităţile desfăşurate de organizaţiile de apartenenţă şi în forurile din care fac parte; f) să exercite cu competenţă şi cinste funcţiile publice în care au fost aleşi sau numiţi şi să informeze organizaţia pe care o reprezintă, cu privire la modul de exercitare a funcţiei respective; g) să reprezinte şi să susţină poziţiile partidului în activitatea depusă în orice funcţie obţinută prin sprijinul politic al partidului; h) să nu ia atitudini publice împotriva poziţiilor oficiale ale partidului; i) să păstreze confidenţialitatea documentelor şi informaţiilor cu caracter intern; j) să respecte legislaţia în vigoare şi normele de comportare morală în partid şi în societate; k) să plătească cotizaţia lunar. (2) Membrii partidului care nu sunt la zi cu plata cotizaţiei pierd dreptul de vot şi nu pot fi aleşi în nici o funcţie. Se consideră plată la zi a cotizaţiei, achitarea acesteia până la nivelul lunar anterior, inclusiv. Cotizația se plătește personal, cu numerar, la casieria organizației, sau prin transfer bancar în contul organizației. (3) Aderenţii partidului au următoarele obligaţii: a) să promoveze principiile şi valorile partidului; b) să cunoască şi să respecte prevederile statutului şi regulamentului partidului; c) să păstreze confidenţialitatea documentelor şi informaţiilor cu caracter intern, de partid, la care au acces; d) să nu exprime public puncte de vedere care aduc prejudicii grave activităţii sau imaginii partidului şi care contravin poziţiilor formulate de organele de conducere ale partidului; (4) Nerespectarea sau încălcarea obligaţiilor de mai sus atrage răspunderea disciplinară conform Art.21 și Art.22.
